  1. Emotional Marketing

Shouldn't be talking about this on the internet, but I'm keeping it real over here. Hey, what's up, my name's Alisa, I'm 36, I live in a small town outside of Fort Worth Texas. I have three kids, 16, 13 and 10, and I own a construction business with my husband. I went part time at work, and it put me into some weird mental state. I don't think it was depression but I definitely was not wanting to get out of bed every day. I had zero motivation.

  2. Real Experience

I basically decided I was gonna be a content creator and start recording my life. It's kind of weird to say that this little app made me get out of bed. It's not like I'm doing anything crazy, I'm literally just recording myself cleaning and cooking and all the things that I normally do. But anywho, I gain a ton of friends on here just by keeping it real.

  3. Emotional Marketing

Because apparently I'm not the only mom fluffing her laundry and not putting it away. I'm not the only mom whose husband is her best friend. I started to ponder why I don't have many close friendships and realize it's because I have so many boundaries and a very low tolerance for bullshit. Because the second the energy feels weird, we're out. And honestly I'm okay with that. I do give chances before I dip but I can usually spot it from a mile away before my husband senses anything.

  4. Real Experience

Okay, so question, are you the one embarrassing your partner or is he the one embarrassing you? I used to be so embarrassed when I was younger and like literally so cringe, but nowadays I give absolutely zero shits. So Justin took me and Addy and her friend to Dollar General last night, and of course I had to browse the Halloween aisle, I found that creepy little mask and decided to wear it around.

  5. Real Experience

Honestly I was just searching for the girls to scare them, but then my husband tricked me into scaring some other people by saying oh here's the girls here's the girls. And I popped around the corner and scared the shit out of them. So that just made it fun and so then I decided to wear the mask around the store the whole time. Except for Justin didn't really think it was that fun and kept telling me to take it off and stop embarrassing him.

  6. Emotional Marketing

But you know, something about me is like when I'm told to do something, I don't do it. I'm one of those people who can be convinced to do something but if you tell me to do something there's absolutely zero chance in hell that I'm gonna do it. And the fact that he was walking around embarrassed was actually kind of funny, because I was in a mask and nobody knew who I was. And I think I scared like 10 people in there. He kept saying I was gonna end up on the town's Facebook group chat. Anywho, I got a lot of shit done this week, and I'm super close to having everything organized in my house. If you made it this far, I hope you know how freaking awesome and amazing you are, and I love and appreciate you for being here. So leave me a sponge emoji.
