I designed the first web shooter that doesn't make a mess and retracts instantly. This is ZipString Aracna, the world's first string launching web shooter. I've been working on this thing for over two years and I finally perfected the design. You may have seen my original toy ZipString on Shark Tank or the movie Weounds for some reason. It uses these two wheels to shoot the string out at 35 miles per hour, but you can actually touch it with your hand and it doesn't hurt.
Product Benefits
You can shoot down objects and you can even grab things with it. It went from this Frankenstein prototype to this fully functional sleek design. I went through so many prototypes like this one and this one. I designed it so that under force the cap will open and the string won't break. It's USB-C rechargeable and it comes with five different strings of different sizes.
Instructions for Use
Fun fact, when I made the original ZipString I measured the strings with my arm length. And so the short string was one Stephen, the medium string was two Stephens and the long string was three Stephens. And they're still based on this measurement. A function I wanted to make sure I got right was the glow in the dark feature.
Product Selling Points
And when I made the first prototype, I got kind of excited. Oh, and it comes out, and then it goes in, and the whole thing is glowing. And now I can go home, my work is done for today. It comes with these two white strings that also glow in the dark. Most glow in the dark toys need a UV light to make them glow, but I designed a UV light inside that charges the string without needing any other lights.
Comparison of Selling Points
The best web shooters use canister string like this, but they're messy, they can stain your clothes and your walls, and parents kind of hate them. You also have to keep buying cans of string that cost like twenty dollars. The strings are reusable and you can also get more on our website, including special effect strings like our Luma lightning strings and psycho strings.
Call to Action
But I have a big problem, kids don't play with real toys anymore. I'm up against the trillion dollar industry of screens. So I need your help to get my toy out there. Because my goal is to get kids playing with real toys again.
Storyboard-Analyse
Medium Shot
A man in a light pink shirt stands in the studio, showing the blue web shooter worn on his wrist, demonstrating the effect of the web string shooting out instantly and retracting automatically, close-up of the internal orange roller structure of the shooter, explaining its launch speed of 35 miles per hour, and showing that the shot web string can be touched safely without hurting people.
Medium Shot
The scene switches to an outdoor forest clearing, using the web shooter to knock over a stack of red plastic cups. Then the man stands next to the outdoor sidewalk, successfully grabbing the red cup on the tabletop with the web string. Back in the studio, he shows all the iterative versions from the early rough semi-finished prototype to the final refined product, demonstrates the product's anti-overload cover opening protection structure, USB-C charging function, and the complete product packaging box with five different sizes of strings.
Medium Close-up
The camera quickly flashes back to scenes of the man in different outfits researching and testing the product in the studio. Then it returns to the man showing five different lengths of colored strings, demonstrating the string lengths from short to long using his own arm span as the unit of measurement, and finally showing the details of the glow-in-the-dark function switch built into the shooter.
Medium Shot
In a dimly lit environment, the man wearing the first-generation prototype shooter excitedly launches the glow-in-the-dark web string. The entire string and the outer shell of the shooter glow fluorescently. Then back to the bright studio, he shows the two included white glow-in-the-dark strings, demonstrating that the built-in UV light can automatically charge the strings to make them glow in the dark without additional auxiliary light sources.
Medium Shot
The man holds a traditional can-style web string spray, demonstrating that the sprayed string is messy and easily sticks to clothes and walls, complaining that this kind of traditional web toy is expensive and troublesome. Then he turns back to show his reusable web shooter, introducing that customers can buy more replacement strings on the official website, including special glow effect styles.
Medium Shot
The man wears a fun retro glasses headgear, expresses his concern that nowadays children are addicted to electronic screens and no longer play with physical toys, and calls on the audience to help promote this toy to get kids playing with real physical toys again.
